Algerian Smail Boudechiche announced in a phonetic workshop in Baladia that he has produced new software featuring phonetic analysis of the holy Quran. According to l'expressiondz, the software comprises the whole text of the holy Quran with a new design, as well as a modern method for educating the divine book. The Algerian designer also noted that the goal of the design is that he is to acquaint people with the phonetic status of the Quran's surahs and verses. Boudechiche, the chief designer of the software, made the remarks in the Literature and Social Sciences Faculty of Sa'd Dehlab University in Baladia, Algeria, adding that Surah Al-Shora as one of the key Surahs of the holy Quran has always been a great source of interest for phonetics researchers. Surah Al-Shora was revealed with the aim of warning the people of Makkah, because the then Makkah dwellers thought that they were the real owners of Arabic language and were proud of their poets, he said, adding that the ignorant people insulted the holy Quran and the great Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), but the revelation of the Surah was a turning point in life of the great Prophet of Islam and first group of people embracing Islam.

The software, which is among the scientific innovations in the field of Quranic product, is aimed at providing Quran-loving students and researchers with feasible ways for analyzing the verses of the Quran through phonetics. 60 Countries to Participate in 25th International Owqaf Quran Competition

The cultural deputy of the Owqaf and Charity Affairs Organization said that representatives of 60 countries will participate in the 25th international Quran competition in the holy city of Mashhad. Speaking Thursday at the gathering of supreme organizing committee of international Quran competitions, Hojat-ol-Islam Hossein Ahmadiyan said that the competition has had various stages in order to be quite competitive and fair so that the most qualified rceiters and memorizers will represent Islamic Republic of Iran in the international stage. “30000 Quran activists participated in the first stage of the competition, which was held last year in Kurdistan province, 400 of whom made it to the national stage, and finally two of them were chosen to represent Iran in the international stage, he went on to say. "So far ,60 countries have announced their readiness to participate in the 25th edition of the competitions and the number is expected to increase," Hojat-ol-Islam Hossein Ahmadiyan noted. The Cultural deputy of Owqaf concluded by saying that 15 distinguished judges from Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon and Tunisia form the judging panel of the competition.

Quran Reciters from Iran Perform in Madina City

A number of Iranian Quran reciters who are in Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj recited verses from the Quran Friday night at Shias' Mosque in Madia. Qasim Razeei and Shoja Zowaidat recited verses from Surah Al-Isra and Surah Al-Mumenoon. Later in the program, Zowaidat, who knows the entire holy Quran by heart and won the first title in Egypt's international Quran competition, answered the questions raised by the audience in the mosque. Concluding the program was Tawasheeh performance by an Iranian Tawasheeh group, which was warmly received by the audience in the mosque. Located just outside the city of Medina, the Shias' Mosque is a hub of Quranic and religious activities. The Iranian Quran reciters are scheduled to perform Quran recitation Monday night in supreme leader's representative office in Medina.

Quranic Sciences Exhibition Opens in Urumia

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, political deputy of West Azerbaijan Province said that special efforts are needed to promote Quranic teachings and sciences in society. Jamshid Mohammadzadeh added the level of Quranic studies has advanced in recent years but more needs to be done to further these studies and present their outcome to the world. Also addressing the guests at the inaugural ceremony was Mohsen Ghaffari Azar, director general of the province’s culture and Islamic guidance department, who said that unlike previous years, this year’s exhibition is held in three sections: books and software, artworks, and sideline activities. “360 pieces of artwork, 270,000 book titles and 10,000 CDs and DVDs with Quranic themes are on display at the exhibition,” he noted, adding that 140 publishers are presenting their publications in 140 pavilions. Quran Contest in Ottawa ,Canada

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Cultural Center in Ottawa, Canada, planed to held a Quran competition in the holy month of Ramadan, IRNA reported. The contest was held in the categories of memorization of the entire holy Quran, memorization of 10 Joz (sections) of the Quran and memorization of the 30th Joz. Preliminary rounds of the contest will be held in mosques and Islamic centers across the country, while the final round is to be hosted by the cities of Ottawa and Ontario. Winners of the final round will be awarded at the end of the competition.

Summer Quran Courses to Be Held for Teenagers in Morocco

According to “oujdacity.net”, boy and girl students from schools and educational centers in “Vajdeh” and some other cities will take the courses to learn how to memorize and recite verses of the holy Quran. Organized by the country’s Academic Council, the courses aim to discover Quranic talents and familiarize students with correct recitation styles as well as motivate them to memorize the holy book. According to the World Muslim Youth Society website, the two students Jom’eh Beik Qorban Ali and Muhammad Esmaiel Olu Abd-ol-Manan were also given a special degree during a ceremony attended by the Kyrgyz mufti and the vice minister of Religious Affairs. The two had not been familiar with the Arabic language but managed to memorize the entire Quran due to their strong perseverance as well as their instructors’ efforts and encouragement. “The officials at the World Muslim Youth Society are doing their best to propagate and expand the Quranic culture in Kyrgyzstan, and all these efforts deserve to be praised,” the Kyrgyz mufti said in a speech at the ceremony. Professors and students of the Quran Faculty were given presents as keepsakes by the Kyrgyz mufti at the end of the function.

The following are some Ahadith to understand the month of Ramadan in the month of fasting:

Ø  1240. Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “When someone is fasting, he should not have sexual relations nor quarrel. If someone fights him or insults him, he should say, ‘I am fasting’” [Agreed upon]

Ø  1241. Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Allah does not require someone who does not abandon lies, and acting by them, while fasting to abandon his food and drink.” [al-Bukhari]

Ø  1242. Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “If someone forgets, and eats and drinks, he should complete his fast. Allah has fed him and let him drink.” [Agreed upon]

Ø  1243. Laqit ibn Sabira said, “I said, ‘Messenger of Allah, tell me about wudu’.’ He said, ‘Do wudu’ thoroughly letting the water run between your fingers and snuffing the water well up your nose, unless you are fasting.’” [at-Tirmidhi]

Ø  1244. ‘A’isha who said, “Fajr used sometimes to find the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, junub from one of his wives. Then he didghusl and fasted.” [Agreed upon]

Ø  1245. ‘Aisha and Umm Salama said, “When morning found the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, junub from one of his wives, he would still fast.” [Agreed upon]

2. 70 time Recite: Astaghfirullaaha Wa Atoobu Ilayh
3. 100 time Recite: Astaghfirullaaha Rabbee Wa Atoobu Ilayh
4. 100 time Recite: Allaahummal'An Qatalata Ameeril Mu'amineena (this is exclusive to 19th & 21st night of Ramadan only)
5. Quran, Find this Dua in The Holy Quran and Recite: Allaahumma Innee As'aluka Bi Kitaabikal Munzali Wamaa Feehi Wa Feehi-Ismukal Akbaru Wa Asmaaukal Husnaa Wamaa Yukhaafu Wa Yurjaa An Taj'alanee Min Utwa-qaaika Minannaar.......(haajats)…(Translation) O Allah I beseech You in the name of Your revealed Book and which is in it, and Your Great Name, and Your Beautiful Names are in it, and in it there is that which warns and gives hope, to include me among those who have been set free from the hell fire.)
6. Quran, Recite the following Dua in Holy Quran by holding to your head: Allaahumma Bihaqqi Haadhal Qur'aani Wa Bihaqqi Man Arsaltahoo Wa Bihaqqi Kulli Mu'aminin Madahtahoo Feehi Wa Bi Haqqika Alayhim Falaa Ahada A'arafa Bihaqqika Minka. ( O Allah for the sake of this Holy Qur’an and for the sake of that person through whom You sent it, and for the sake of those believers who have been praised therein, and in the name of Your obligation to them, no one is aware of Your obligation to them more then You)
